NOAA setting in thunderbird

Here are the settings needed to set up noaa email in thunderbird, which you prefer over browser.

incoming server: 
  imap.gmail.com
  port: 993
  Security settings: SSL/TLS : normal password


outgoing sever: 
   smtp.gmail.com
   port: 587
   security settings: STARTTLS : normal password
